My name is Karen and I am a working mom of two from New Jersey who believes that a big part of personal happiness comes from taking care of your mind, body and personal space...and doing what energizes you!
I hold a B.S. in Exercise Science and have 10 years experience in the health and fitness industry. However, I abandoned it for a while due to food and body image issues, chronic yo-yo dieting and OCD tendencies.
The last ten years was a two steps forward, one step back process in recovering from all that stress. And I am so happy to say that I am fully recovered and have never felt better. It was an organic healing that gradually happened, to my surprise.
My goal is to inspire you not only with food and fitness ideas, but also to encourage you to never give up on yourself...you can change if you really want to. All you need to do is take the first step, and then another, and before you know it, you will be on your way to a healthier and happier you!
