Body Positivity Strategies during your
Mind & Body Transformation!
My name is Karen Vee and I am here to help you turn your "Blues To Hues" by providing you with ways to transform yourself from a frustrated, yo-yo dieter to an empowered woman leading a colorful and confident life. Let’s take this journey together using Food, Fitness and Mindset to help you get healthy, burn fat, build muscle and most importantly, love and respect your body!
I am a Wife and working Mom of 2 from New Jersey who believes that a big part of personal happiness comes from taking care of your mind, body and personal space...and doing what energizes you!
I hold a B.S. in Exercise Science and have over 10 years experience in the health and fitness industry. However, I abandoned it for a while due to food and body image issues, chronic yo-yo dieting and OCD tendencies.
The last ten years was a two steps forward, one step back process in recovering from all that stress. And I am so happy to say that I am fully recovered and have never felt better. It was an organic healing that gradually happened, to my surprise. What was once an unhealthy obsession, is now a healthy passion.
My goal is to educate and inspire you not only with food and fitness strategies, but to also encourage you to never give up on yourself...you can change if you really want to. All you need to do is take the first step, and then another, and before you know it, you will be on your way to a healthier and happier you! It's slowly crafting a new lifestyle, not going on a diet...and it all starts with your MINDSET!

I DO NOT:
Believe in fad diets.
Support quick results.
Believe in short-term results.
I DO BELIEVE:
That results take time.
Replacing bad habits with healthy habits takes time.
Self-care should be a priority so you can be happy, healthy and impactful in your life.
In finding the joy in the journey to greater health.
It is possible to change.
Learning is essential in order to empower yourself.
Getting out of your comfort zone is required.
Anything worth achieving is hard and takes strong desire, discipline and dedication. (However, I do not expect anyone to be perfect, as perfectionism was my #1 problem when I struggled with food and my body.)
I am not here to judge you, I am here to help you. Getting healthy and making positive changes to your body and mind is not something you do in a few weeks. It is a lifelong journey and there is no end. My purpose is to help you get started on that journey. I want to educate and empower you to be able to handle any and all situations that arise in your life on your own, particularly involving food, fitness and mindset. I want you to believe in yourself, trust yourself and know that every success and pitfall is a learning experience. Nothing bad is going to happen if you "mess up." Perfection doesn't exist, and what is perfection anyway? I am here to help you short-term or long-term...each client is unique with different needs. Lastly, I want you to know that there is no right or wrong way to go about this, there are optimal choices we can make, but sometimes optimal means eating that slice of pizza or ice cream cone because in that moment, it's the choice that brings you ultimate joy (and yes, I ate the entire ice cream cone below) ;)
